An event is a dated occasion — wine dinner, holiday seating, a full buyout — with its own table pool and booking terms. An exclusive event holds its pool against regular bookings for the window; guests book it from the public widget and AI channels through the event's own listing. Blank optional fields inherit the regular rules (default duration, the normal time grid, per-table party bounds, every channel). Events are closed, never deleted: closing frees the tables and keeps every booking.
